Best Banana Bread Recipe Ever - Thermomix method

Ingredients

  • 350 grams ripe bananas broken up
  • 150 grams caster sugar
  • 130 grams butter room temperature
  • 2 eggs
  • 230 grams self-raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
  • 100 grams natural yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C.

  2. Prepare loaf tin (25 x 10 x 11cm).

  3. Place bananas and vanilla extract in the bowl and mix for 5 seconds on speed 6.

  4. Add butter and caster sugar and mix for 20 seconds on speed 5.

  5. Add the eggs one at a time and combine each for a few seconds on

    speed 5.

  6. Add the flour, bicarbonate soda and yoghurt and mix for 15 seconds on speed 4.

  7. Pour into prepared tin and bake in the oven for 1 hour.

  8. Wait until cool before removing from tin.
